Reading an old tag or P.O.? Use these cues to find your family, then match it in the table above.
Cast aluminum, painted → Watchman (general) or
Sentinel (explosion-proof). Black/yellow plastic → Survivor.
Stamped “Class I Div 1 / NEMA 7” → Sentinel → 48 Series.
“NEMA 4/4X” only → Watchman → 45 or Survivor → 41.
Part numbers containing VPT or a 4–20 mA spec →
add the transmitter option to the matched Max-Air series.
