Brand Spotlight
Three things moved the market this spring: WTI crude broke $105/bbl, copper hit a
28% year-over-year high, and Baker Hughes called the upstream rebound on its Q1 earnings
call. The translation for anyone running a Q3 project schedule is simple — if your plan depends on automated
valve packages, OEM lead times are about to get longer. When the spec sheet says Bettis, the smart move is
to source from a distributor that already has it on the floor.

Why Bettis Scotch Yoke gets spec’d into the project
When the application needs high-thrust, high-cycle, fail-safe actuation, Bettis is the name engineers write
into the package. Where it wins:
- Pipeline isolation — high-torque on/off service for transmission and gathering lines
- Subsea & offshore — shutdown valves where failure is not an option
- LNG terminals — fail-safe operation on cryogenic ESD valves
- Refinery emergency block — large-bore ball and gate valves on critical service
What we stock and support
- Bettis CBA-Series pneumatic Scotch Yoke — full bore-size range, double-acting and spring-return
- Bettis G-Series hydraulic Scotch Yoke — high-pressure, HPU-driven
- Mounting kits, brackets, declutchable gear overrides, ESD/PST controls
- Full automated valve packages — assembled and tested in Houston before they ship
If your spec sheet says Bettis, Limitorque, Cameron Ledeen, Shafer, or Rotork, we have the supplier
relationships to deliver without the OEM lead time.
packaging, delivery reliability, commercial terms, and customer service.”

The project pipeline is forming now
In late April, Mexico and Brazil formalized a deep-water cooperation pact covering exploration, refining
technology, and biodiesel — exactly the work that pulls in subsea valves, ESD packages, and refining trim.
Pair that with Baker Hughes’ upstream-rebound call for the second half of 2026, and the takeaway is the
same: lock specs and pricing before OEM lead times widen.
